Tony Field born in Nottingham and lived and worked in London and Lincolnshire  Studied fine art at Ealing,  Lincoln and Leicester. Has a studio in Boston

Tony has exhibited throughout the UK in public spaces and galleries.  Sculpting in numerous media, metal, wood, concrete and recycled materials. 

Tony also paints in a variety of media and undertakes private commission’s including portraits.

 For over 10 years Tony has run many very successful  workshops and sculpture projects with hundreds of children in dozens of schools and other venues throughout Lincolnshire covering a wide range of skill and media types.

Although in general my work is figurative there is an element of free expression which sometimes borders on the abstract  “I believe It is a necessary part of the creative process that at some point the work takes on a life of it’s own and attempts to take control, it is this contest between the two living elements the artist and the art work that, when in equilibrium,  produce a successful art work”
